Looks like stem rot. Did the stem break? it looks like it in the pictures. Edit : Deff keep it. Unless for some reason it starts to spread but I highly doubt it will.

Umm thats odd. I spray my plants 24/7 and have NEVER lost a plant due to stem rot or no roots growing. I guess it would depend on what medium you plan to put these plant in once they are rooted. Spraying them 24/7 and then putting them in a DWC setup has worked perfect for me for some 8 years....

I built on time and wrapped out around the backside of a 12,000 btu windows unit. Worked like a charm but I had a 8" vortex on it. Should work tho.
