5 Gal buckets on the EBB MONSTER, Holy Cow! The down side is, less plants and WAY more water and nutes. I'm in a tent, so I can't allow them to get too tall anyway. Seems to me thet 5 gallon buckets is a little too boo-koo. I'd really love to see some 3 gallon buckets! Hempdaddy, you have...

Question on how to run my carbon filter and duct muffler.

Go with the 6" DEFINATELY. Get a good speed controller. Then you can operate your room at idle speeds but you'll still have the top-end fan speed to instantly cool off your plants if nessesary. Go big or regret it later.

Getting Equipment for a Grow Rooms and Suggestions

No no no. Bad Dan! No timming until it's time. Get a small microscope at the head shop (not the 100x). You'll see a little blob of goo on the tips of hair. When those blobs transition from clear -> milky -> Amber. You are ready to chop. Don't be impatient. When you chop, pull all of...

The amount they drink depends a lot on the maturity. Plants that are 4-6 weeks into flower will consume A LOT of water. If they are not drinking a lot, you have problems coming. The question wasn't for me, but I water every 3 hours during light's ON.

    GrowBoxTempRegulation

60 at night is not a problem at all. Keep it simple. Anything near "frost" temps are a problem... but you've got nothing to worry about.

    Need Help With Setup

Sounds like you've got adequate equipment. WHERE are you exhausting to? You must exhaust to outside of the house. This will draw fresh air into the house without the use of the intake fan. With a good temperature controlled speed controller...

Question on how to run my carbon filter and duct muffler.

This is the only speed controller I recommend: http://aeroponicsnmore.com/climate-control-ventilation-c-23_5/temp-2v-fan-speed-control-variable-idle-setpoint-p-181 It will keep your room at the perfect temp without needing an AC or any dialy adjustments. WELL WORTH 4x the money imo. Awesome...

    Need Help With Setup

Mylar sucks! Use Panda Film or flat white paint. Ventilation is your #1 concern. You will need an inline fan with a good carbon filter to suck the stank and heat out of your room. You will need to exhaust that air to the outdoors! Crucial!!!! A constant supply of fresh outside air is...

Question on how to run my carbon filter and duct muffler.

You shouldn't need a muffler. I have an 8" fan connected to a 6" Can 66 Filter. It's extreemly quiet. If anything, just buy insulated ducting. You may consider wrapping the actual fan in insulation as a last resort.

    Drying in Flowering Room

I hang it outside the tent in my garage. The vents on the tent are open so it's sucking all the smelly air into the tent and up into the filter anyway.

    fan setup question?

Exhaust and intake should not be too close together if you do use an intake. I do not use an intake fan on my primary room because it's in a garage. There is enough air leak around the edges of the door. At my other spot, I do have an intake because the spot is in a bedroom. There, I use...

    Heat Buildup

The speed controller I mentioned above is fantastic because it is temperature controlled. It's also Day/Night sensitive. So you can set it to 70f degrees and the fan will pur along at whatever idle speed you want, but when the room hits 70f the fan will ramp up and draw in max air. This will...

Make sure that no air is returning to your house from the garage. Crack a window nearbye so that that is definately the path of least resistance for fresh incoming air. Purchase this fan controller...

    Heat Buildup

Exhausting it "outside", you said? You mean outside of the house right? Simply exhausting to another room inside the house would cause this kind of problem.

    fan setup question?

ANSWER: You need 1 good sized fan (600-800 cfm) operated by this controller. http://aeroponicsnmore.com/climate-control-ventilation-c-23_5/temp-2v-fan-speed-control-variable-idle-setpoint-p-181 You'll seriously appreciate the extra top-end on your fan when the days are hot and the room is in...

Roots in the line: Make sure the line connected to the pot is at least 18" long before the "T". Roots in the line are not a problem as long as they do not get to the T. That will clog the other plants along the line. Expansion Packs: More than 48 pots is difficult to operate properly. The...

Regarding sugar or molases: I wouldn't add that to this system. I've added some Nectar type sweeteners (hydro store stuff), but not religiously. I didn't notice any difference. I highly recommend using FloraKleen every 30 days though. It's a flushing agent not a sweetener. I run it for 2...
