hey whats goin on duders... i recently cased some wbs and put it in my fruiting chamber...my question is how long till pinning. i got awesome humidity, and i fan the box as much as a can a day, maybe 4 times. my question is about lighting...i know the myclium needs light to no which way to grow...

wbs aint to hard plus its faster and has more nutrients....

how much should the casing be overrun by mycelium before i put a thin layer of wet verm on top and initiate fruiting??

o wow thanks ANC!!! def will use that tip! is casing all about moisture content?? i just misted what i got so far, which is a equal mixture of verm and colonized wbs, once i see some mycelium growth in a day or two ill put a very thin layer of moist verm on top and begin the fruiting process...

okay thanks, i hear ya man.. i kinda fucked up this round, hope it doesnt fuck me ova too much, but its mi first time. next time ill do the layers of verm,wbs,verm instead of mixing them..you learn somethin new everyday at this point im just misting so i can add a little moisture to my casing...

uh i didnt even mention perilite,im doing the rez effect, im using perilite but its not part of my casing, its my humidifier..... i was asking if it was okay that the verm was dry when mixed with the colonized wbs, i equally mixed equal parts wbs and verm and im incubating and lettin it sit...

whats up duders? when casing should the verm be wet or dry? how do ya know the right amount of water to verm ratio?? and if you used dry would it be alright to finely mist the finished casing so there is moisture, or will that harm the mycelium thanks

inthose first two picks, is it better to cut the plant when its the first pic, or do ya wait till it flowers, like the second, and open up that middle part...for extracting the juices i mean.

basically once ya got a colonized substrate of grains,not a cake, ya take some of ya colonized grains and put it in a jar of uncolonized grains, and the colonized grain of mycelium grows in the new jar taking over that jar. basically u use a little of your mycelium to make unending mycelium...

i used wbs but i pc'ed for 60 mins wanted to go to 90 but didnt have the time... everyone tellin me luquid cultures the way to go, prolly just go with a spore prints i dunno yet. lc seems the most effecient. what about skippin that whole step and just doin grain to grain?? seems like the least...

the more i look at what im using, i got the room, and the more i read about casing your substrate the more i realize i want a thicker layer of mycelium than i first thought.....ya learn somethin new everyday

basically i wasnt expey€cting havin zero contaims... i knocked up 12 yars and alll 12 are usable, but i dont have the room(fruitingchambers).. just wondering if storing them in a cold dark place for maybey 4 months max would do anything.
