id always used to try and keep my CFLs at least 2-3" off the tops of the plants. If you can id throw in 3-4 more of those shop lights in there. Youll probably need more lumens then what you got to get a decent harvest, but I mite be wrong

need a pic to look @ but, if your leaves are turning yellow and you havnt been giving them any nutrients then they probably need a dose of some Veg nutes

once i turn mine back if my plants are around 18" i cut all the branches from the dirt up around 6-10" up the plant. that helps your upper tops get a lot larger, because all the energy the plant was using to produce buds and keep alive those branches, its all going now to the tops and top side...

looking good nice little bushy plants. in your pic tho looks like a little fert burn on the bottom leaves. maybe give it a flush of plain water and cut your nutes back alittle bit. Besides that looks good hope it turns out good for ya

I have a 4.5' x 4.5' box and i grow three strains and i grow any where between 6 to 10 plants under a 400w bulb. the less plants i have the larger i let them get the more plants i have in the box the smaller they are when i turn the lights back

the best decoy plant ive found is a flower thats called a Cleome that have leaves that look identical to marijuana and they also produce a skunky smell that is also very similar too a marijuana ive been growing them around my plants for years and you cant tell the difference

Im running a 600w hps/mh setup and i usually let them get anywhere between 18" to 30" before i flip the time and bulbs back to the flowering stage

Ive tried similar lighting schedules before, but in a side by side test w/ another box of mine I found no difference in growth or budding from doing it the way your talking about or just cutting back from 18/6 straight to 12/12

If its coming from the chimney which is where i always run my vent lines, is about your safest bet. There could be so many different things in the house that are blowing warm air into the chimney that its not uncommon

I wouldnt put a plain MH bulb in a ballast thats made for HPS bulbs. My buddy has a ballast that can take MH conversion bulbs so he can put in both and still use the same ballast but if your ballast isnt designed for a conversion bulb I wouldnt risk it
