I agree with nodrama. Are you flowering with cfls? You should change the lights to a spectrum more suitable for flowering, I forget what the exact spectrum is but I'm pretty sure you can get close to what a hps hid can offer with the right cfls.

Do you think they're too small to flower? I usually get em a little bit bigger before I flower but I'm always upset at the height so I was gonna try flowering after the third week of veg to keep em no taller than three feet tall.

I agree with mudballs, I always look for the resin crystals turning amber color. as opposed to checking the color of the pistols. I always harvest as soon as the resin crystals go from a milky white to a clear amber. it has always worked well for me. I use a magnifying glass.
