Thanks for the input Nocturn3. I have been planning on a 400 watts hps but saw the LED videos and thought I might need to at least ask someone in the know. I don't care to throw good money away.

I saw some videos on youtube where people were using led light on their plants instead of HPS lighting. The wattages on the led's were around 60 watts vs. hps lights that start around 400 watts and up. What are the advantages between the two styles of lights? Do the led's work as well? Are the...
