LED's should be within 6" at least. They don't get very hot at all. Also, you can use that 1000 HPS, just keep it 18"-24" away depending on your setup. If you have a fan blowing across the tops then 18" will be fine.

You want your run off to be 6.5 adjust your water higher before pouring it in. There is stuff in the soil that will adjust pH which is why this is happening.

What I do is I use a gallon jug of spring water from the grocery. I add each fert into the gal of water shaking the jug in between each fert. Then I water my plants. Using a gallon jug makes it real easy. Be sure to adjust pH as Grow Big and Tiger Bloom will bring pH way down.
