Roots can take anywhere between 7 and 21 days to show - depending on strain and environment. One of my strains took about 14 days to show roots, others took nearer 7.

Some strains are harder to clone than others, it depends on genetics, the overall health of the plant you're trying to clone from, the technique you're using etc.. but all strains should be able to be cloned successfully. Just because it's more difficult, doesn't mean it can't be done...

Hey Tokey I don't think even Envirolites put out 100 lumens per watt to be honest. The best performing (in terms of lumens per watt) fluorescent I've seen is the T5 High Output linear fluorescents which get close to 100 lumens per watt. I don't think you'll ever acheive that with CFL's...

Plants always grow faster in hydro than soil - you can't compare the growth rates between the two.

Been in the same pot for 4 weeks? It's run out of Nitrogen - either feed it or repot it.

Do you have any drainage holes in those cups? If not it's probably watering problems and you really shouldn't have plants in see through containers - the light will damage the delicate roots.
