thanks guys, yeah i have gone through a bunch of threads in the advanced section. i was considering trying topping and fimming on a few plants but just keep pushing it off. i will just let this one go and try those techniques on younger plants.

i did notice the stalk getting a little stiffer as time went by but i was still able to bend slowly with ease on another plant almost as far along as the one i'm asking about. So whats the verdict? will it slow the flowering process? should i say forget it and try it on a younger plant? and as...

you could use a window screen from a window in your house, or just get some screen from any home improvement center, you'd have to make a frame for it but i think that would work great!
