if running straight buds first run ( no grind) yes. un pack, grind, re pack.. i say so, because when blasting whole nugs, you miss a lot of the good stuff. butane has got to hit the trichome to catch it.. butane dont penetrate dense nugs.. dont sound stupid when you double your yield..
