As people have said, it seems to come down to the amount you are being charged per kw of electricity. Hanging a HPS with the extra infared will most likely keep your leaf surface temps at an acceptable level while the air temp is cooler

Also if you seriously have issues moving the led, just put the HPS underneath it when weather heats up for you turn it on
