Maybe its nute burn, but in my opinion this looks like a ph problem. I didnt ph my last crop (BIG mistake) and all but one of my plants were freakishly deformed. Im talking unnaturally shaped leaves, branches shooting out in random places, they lookd like i did some new crazy training technique.

I just purchased some clones a few days ago and i put they directly under my 1000w mh and they are loving it! They are small, just enough roots to stick em in the ground. As long as you got heat under control id think u could stick em under as soon as their rooted.
