He fell in the yard twice & couldn't get up. I promised myself I'd to the right thing if I had too. He passed a week ago Thursday. :(
He went from 175 to 120 in a matter of weeks.
As expected, big boy continues to deteriorate. He will only eat now if hand fed (mostly baked fresh silver salmon) & has lost around 40+ lbs. It's heartbreaking to watch but he's not in pain and most importantly he's in "his" home with us.

In the 70's Dad kept a framing hammer in the boat - knock a hole in the top of the shell to remove animal & trim off all & skin the "foot". A bit of lemon/lime & it's crunchy (ish).
