yeah, don't trim fan leaves. you can top the plant but please don't cut fan leaves, they do all the work for the plant. more fan leaves equal bigger buds. please read a faq on growing before you kill your hoe, peace

The pot looks too small for the plant, maybe rootbound, get a bigger pot to transplant in, preferably ten gallon. Use good soil and don't overwater, only water every four to six days, weed likes to fully dry out in between waterings. peace

Re-using old miracle grow soil is probably not a great idea. It will contain old roots and nutes and could harm your plant. I would buy some Foxfarm original or at least some new potting soil and transplant it. The old soil contains sodium from old nutes and other contaminants that could harm...
