    growing sativas in the north?

Also, you can give bloom ferts to try to induce early flowering. I have read on this site that high potash and potassium, not nitrogen, can start the flowering cycle early, along with the black bags, this might do the trick. Also, it is supposed to be a long, hot summer. Pray for a very warm...

    growing sativas in the north?

Sativa's generally take upwards of 13 weeks to finish budding. You are talking late october early november, too cold up your way to finish. I would bring em inside if possible to finish, I had to do that last year with an indica, her sisters were dug up and the roots eaten by deer or a black...

My VERY FIRST GROW. PICS!! Comments PLEASE.

Looks alot like my first cfl grow. I yielded two ounces per plant with more cfl's than you have there. I used 60 watt 2300K, about four of them and multiple 26 watters, as many as I could fit in my closet, with cheap mylar equivalent of silver wrapping paper from family dollar, LOL! Four ounces...

    outside plants need help please

Also, the leaves curling up like that means they need more moisture, the elevation you are at is drier, especially in Nor Cal! Water more frequently or use some H2O globes, they will love you in return!

    outside plants need help please

At your elevation the soil dries up faster than elsewhere. The grow bags you used last year retained more moisture! The plants look dry! I would water with just plain water for a few days! The perlite helps dry the soil faster, and it contains nitrogen too, so don't overnute! I see where you dug...

Mutated Leaves?!?!?!?? My plant looks disgusting

Happened to a large sativa I grew, the buds stretched and eventually they started to grow again. Unfortunately the plant was overturned and the roots devoured in september, probably a black bear or big deer. The 10 gallon bucket was pretty heavy, especially when watered.

HardCorps' First Bagseed LST Closet Grow

forgot to mention, you may need bigger cfl's if you want big buds. I used 150watt 2300k, at least four to five for one plant and added other miscellaneous 100 watts. those 100 watt bulbs are 100 watt equivalent, meaning they are only probably sixty total watts per bulb. check the packaging...

HardCorps' First Bagseed LST Closet Grow

Looks good, i grew in a similar setup and was hard to control humidity. i got some bud rot on a few spots on a huge indica. other than that it went well. so hope your fans control humidity, shoot for around 50% relative humidity or less, anything more and you may encounter bud rot, unless you...

let me tell yall a little something

i don't bother to top or trim, i like the baby to grow au natural, with a single solid bud to the top. just my preference. but for guerilla growing, it may keep them somewhat shorter and less conspicous. it is time consuming to go back and trim them plus you may give your spot away if someone...
