I cant figure out why ya cant see the other ones I posted (much bigger pics) ...all I did before was to go into my Pics Folder click the image I wanted to post.. then right click on the lower IMG code and copy and paste the code directly onto the page and then post it.... Am I missing...

I use Canna Hydro Clay and that seems to work fine....I do boil them first just to get them ultra clean and sterile 1st (just to be on the safe side :) but they are fairy stable PH-wise and have always worked well for me, if that helps at all? - ZTELTHY :leaf:

UPDATE The Midget supposed 'Blue Cheese' has had some more probs..and has developed root rott.. I've changed the water in the Res. set the EC at 1.8 and have the PH between 5.5 and 5.8 ...and added 7.5ml of superthrive..to try and help it out.. The leaves show a little stress under-neath and...

Yes! It's possible :) !!! ..I'am running a 250W MH in a DIY Cool-Tube (Bake-a-round tube) and running 3X 3.7" CPU fans (+ Blue LED's) :) wired to a 12V transformer...I also have a separate 4" In-Line fan, 4" Odor Soc and 4" Carbon Filter to deal with Odor control...but whilst both are running...

I have since bought an HM Digital PH Meter, and I have also ordered a new a new Digital EC Meter ie: 'The Lock & Key' my PH levels in the Res tub should now stay between 5.5 and 5.8 ...I'll test it daily...so much easier than doing it the old way with test tube, pippets, chart and bottle of PH...

I've noticed that since I've added the light covers...the room temp has been raised a couple of degrees....to compensate I have peeled apart the filter cloth that I added to the 4" InLine fan exhaust grill..and placed a thinner piece in there the fan now expels more air, prob a good thing...
