CO2 and roots with bubbleponics question

I'm not being arrogant, I'm giving you advice you asked for. YOURE WELCOME :wall: If its cyanobacteria, it NEEDS light to survive. So if youre 100% sure its that, again, fix any light leaks. Otherwise, move on to the next option.

    Hydroponics HELP

I pre-soak mine in 5.0 water. It usually rises to ~6.5, so I resoak in 5.5 and it doesnt rise above 6.0. Different companies may be slightly different too

How do you know its that? Assuming it is, fix your light leaks.

CO2 and roots with bubbleponics question

Like I said, excess co2 will NOT be your problem if youre using the DIY method. Just barely raises co2 above atmospheric levels. Most co2 setups run 13-1500ppm. Since youre not there, you dont have to move the air pump anywhere, it was just a suggestion IF you get your co2 levels up. And if that...

CO2 and roots with bubbleponics question

If youre using the DIY co2 setup, excess co2 is not your problem. If you have anything above normal atmospheric levels you should try to move the air pump outside the grow area. Not because co2 causes problems, but because its taking the place of oxygen. 'Snotty algae crap' isnt a very...

OK ILL BE THE ONE TO SAY IT....FLOOMING! The latest craze in aerating your water

I wouldnt say I consider it to be better, they just each have their strengths. Flooming/waterfalls do a better job of dissolving oxygen and circulating nutrients. The benefits can be seen by looking at undercurrent vs rdwc. Airstones do a better job of actually providing oxygen to the plant. So...

So do you "flush or not"?

I dont do the flush debate thing either...But as Im in a medical state and somewhat involved with the industry and have never heard this despite several discussions with lawyers and having a ~40page CA mmj law book, I have to ask what law specifically states that plants have to be flushed? If...

OK ILL BE THE ONE TO SAY IT....FLOOMING! The latest craze in aerating your water

Nice post, good info. BUT youre leaving out the other side of the dissolved oxygen story. DO may be higher with flooming and waterfall methods, but you have NO atmospheric oxygen present. So even though more oxygen is dissolved in the water, less is actually present.

1st time scrog DWC. question about feeding with jungle juice?

https://www.rollitup.org/hydroponics-aeroponics/4387-lucas-formula.html Reeeally easy way to use GH nutrients from veg to flower, by mixing just the micro and bloom you end up with a 5-5-5 nutrient. Just adjust how much of each you use through the cycles (0-5-10; 0-8-16).

    calling all DWC scrogers

Nice, I'm kinda jealous lol. Id like to switch from the cab I scrog in to a 5x5 or somethin but fuckin odd footprint requirements...I make it fun though. Youll be able to handle a nice dense and deep canopy with that so you can really fill it up. 12-14" of canopy above the screen shouldnt be an...

3000w Multi Strain Medical Grow!! Soil ScroG, Waterfarms, DWC

And now for the bad. Fan leaves on 2 of about 10 main tops of my OG13 are developing rusty margins. Not 100%, my vote is on calcium deficiency though. Any thoughts?

3000w Multi Strain Medical Grow!! Soil ScroG, Waterfarms, DWC

Vegging away :leaf: Day 23:leaf: A soon-to-be-massive Tahoe bud up front And I discovered taking 'canopy' pictures is pretty tough with vertical setups

    calling all DWC scrogers

Yeah somewhere around there, like I said depends on a couple things: how dense of a canopy you want which mostly depends on your lighting, how long you plan to train into flower which depends on stretch and available/preferred height. If you post some specs or pics of your setup itd be easier to...

Transplant or just start seeds in 5 gal pots?

Aside from the convenience and space factors that have been mentioned several times, I see the waste from leaching out the nutrients in 5gal of soil before the plant ever gets to use them. Transplanting from a cup to a 1-3gal and finally to a 5-7gal lets me veg without having to feed. Not sure...

    Ph Question!

Its sulfuric acid, do some reading before swearing it off based on lack of information. Completely harmless and $25 worth can make over $500 worth of off-the-shelf product. Sodium hydroxide, phosphoric acid, hydrochloric acid, etc. All sounds horrible to most people because they dont understand...

    Question about cloning

Its not too late to clone, but expect it to take a little longer and youll probably end up with some mutated growth at first. I'd be more concerned about that girl not looking to be too healthy right now. Thatll only make it harder to get clones to take, and harder for her to recover from...

Cloning Experement - Honey vs Schultz Take Root vs Clonex gel

hahah yeah I did forget actually. Not too much of a rep/like person because so many people give it out for no reason, and maybe a little too baked at the time, so it may have gotten by lol. And thanks, that back one is Sour Cream (g13 haze x sour diesel). Stretchy bitch, just over 7' tall now...

    Beneficial Bacteria

Youre right on the point where it may not be necessary, but youll probably want to have something to keep water temps down then. Blowing air across your system will do next to nothing if you dont have an immediate way to remove the heat. Thats why fans feel great but do nothing to actually lower...

    Beneficial Bacteria

I just assumed that since you were asking, you knew it could cause issues but were choosing to leave it and try to fight any of those issues as they came instead of just fixing it. I use foil tape on my dwc buckets, works great for both temps and light. Not sure the fan will do much, what are...

    Beneficial Bacteria

You still have to keep your temps in check though you get a little more tolerance for higher temps with less risk, and I'm not sure why you would have a setup with light leaks in the first place. Breeding your own is much better and more economical than just using the products off-the-shelf...
