Update: SR1 is 38 days old, 15 days into flower. SR3 is 28 days old. Bushy lil thing. All in all my impression of the Short Rider is, it's a really hardy little plant. True to it's billing, its really short, extremely compact and it's easy to grow. Nirvana claims it needs a "light hand"...

Quick update: it stretched quite a bit, seems to be kicking into warp drive, lots of bud sites popping up. Hard to tell from photos because the plant is so compact and dense. This is from day 11 of flowering The smaller one is lush green, growing beautifully, at only 3 weeks of veg it's not...

Good to hear its only a lil extra cash to run. I run my cfl's 24-7, since I'm doing a run of auto's, and I wanted them to finish as fast as possible. But when I do go eventually to HPS/MH, of course it'll be only 12/12 so that should offset the cost a lil. I'll keep my cfl's in a veg chamber...

CD your grows are an inspiration to cfl gardeners man. To those who say autoflowers and cfl's are a waste of time, I point to this thread and a few others. Well done and happy growing :leaf:

I've got about 240 true watts of cfl going in a small grow box 24-7 and all I have is a regular sized oscillating fan in there, and although a few leaves have 'crisped', the plants are thriving. I wouldn't worry man

Sweet Apollo package, did you find that you needed anything else to go with the light system, or was it pretty much ready out of the box? How's the damage to your electric bill compared to your old cfl setup?
