Update on the Short Riders. SR1 is 47 days old and has been budding for about 24 days now. Starting to look solid. This is the way I have my plant surrounded by CFL's. That's 179 true watts of 2700K blasting that one plant alone. The other Short Rider, SR3, is barely starting to flower...

I have black standard pots that are 3.8 gallons, however I leave about 5 inches from the top when I'm filling with soil. So about 3 gallon pots.

I hear ya... lol I plan on keeping my CFL's in use in a veg chamber. Anyone agree 250 HPS is sufficient for 3 plants in rotation, in a 2 x 2.5 tent?

Currently growing under some CFL's --- I know I know, HPS is the way to go, but when you're a noob sometimes you rush out and buy whatever you can to start growing. However... Just ordered my 250 HPS, plan on running it in a 2x2 tent, so I have just joined your club. Cheers!~
