u can go from dirt to hydro but not from hydro to dirt but y would u want to

maybe if u put the hydroton under the dirt at the bottom u probably would have better drainage and oxygen getting to the roots

if u want to get cheap ud be better off going with floros

id wait and be sure but that is a big swing in temp and that puts a lot of stress in the plants the less the swings in temp the closer the nodes will be and healthier the plant will be
