The first batch i made was so strong i thought i fucked up and got soap in it some how. Tasted like pinsol lol Really strong pine flavor. Almost too much. So i did another run and it came out still piney as hell but not as strong. Ill be doing another run in a few days and will post my results...

I have tincture made with 75.5% ever clear and topical made with coconut oil. But from what I've gathered either can be used for both since you have already decarb'd your material already. Although coconut oil does absorb better through the skin than ethanol.

If transdermal mean for use on the skin. I say its both. I want to use it for canna caps but I keep some around for its pain relieving quality. I used it on a bad burn and had no pain in the morning. But making it for canna caps for my insomnia

Yeah I'm not going to add synthetic terpines to my mixes. Just wanted to know how to turn down that pine flavor. Low heat and less time it is then. I'll do another batch in a few days and I'll let you guys know how it turns out. Hopefully less pine flavor lol Thank you guys!!

Ok I went back and reread the post but I still don't unsterstand why not to use it? I thought it made the coconut oil and bho mix better?

Dammit. So basically if I kept the temp low while vac purging it would help keep some of the fruity flavor to it? Since I can't remove the pine taste I'd at least like to know if the lower temp would help keep the fruit or berry flavor?

I would like to single it out and remove its taste from my bho. Would it be caused by the bud not being completely dried out?

I recently did a bho run with blue dream. Buts its taste throws me off a lot. It has a really strong pine flavor/taste to it. What would cause this? Or is it just the way blue dream tastes? I know different strains have different tastes and this is the second run of bd I did that came out...

I hear the wetter the runnier the oil. But idk for sure. I've never run wet weed before
