I tried both feminized purple kush and Zeus regular. Both strains hermied out really bad on me. Every single bean. Almost all of them were mutated to some degree. Out of all the seeds I used, I found one that was usable for production. It still was a hermi, but didn't produce seeds.

I know everyone is going to talk about light per square foot, etc.... I say fuck all that. Just get yourself a 400 watt light, throw it over some auto beans in your spare room, put a fan up, and let it grow. That's good enough to get a feel for it.

Honestly, I found the air pots to be a complete pain in the ass to water. You have to be really slow or the water just leaks out the sides right away. I've been using cloth pots, and watering from the bottom. But to each his own.

That's funny because I always use it in my organic soil mixes. I find that peat moss turns acidic as it breaks down.

Be careful to not use too much citrus fruits in your compost though.

I personally throw all my old fruit scraps into my compost I use for flowering. Then I make a banana, molasses, bat guano and worm casting tea for deep flowering. You can really taste the difference in the cannabis.
