Looking for advice on my first cheap setup

house and garden nutes are good too, I prefer them over GH. Go to the house and garden website and they will set you up with a custom feed schedule

Looking for advice on my first cheap setup

I would use some T5 lighting for vegging. It is very forgiving for newbies because you can basically set it right on top of the plant. CFL's are good, but you need quite a few of them for 5-6 plants, and have them in the right spots. Using T5's you will have tubes, so it will be easier for you...

    Plant is short-roots are huge???

I had a clone that rooted after a few days, within two weeks the plant was only about 6'' tall and had about 30 bleach white roots coming out of the bottom of a 4'' rockwool cube. Within a couple days that thing took off and grew like nobodys business. good luck

    Is This Mold or wtf???

I cant really tell with the blurry pics, but could it be salt buildup? like I said, I cant really tell from the pics. If you say they are hairs, and you are sure of that, then obviously it wouldnt be any type of salt buildup. I have had salt buildup on plants before that almost looked like hairs...

Transplanted plant prob.. nitrogen? Age ? too

why did you transplant from coco to soil? Im sure it has got something to do with shock. Maybe flush it real good and see what happens. Something that my buddies really like to use when transplanting is super thrive. Whenever they suspect shock they use this stuff and they say it works great. As...

    magnisium def, right or wrong

could be mag def. I would flush really good and then get a fresh batch of nutes in their, that is if it is feeding time.

    Leaf edges curling up

oh and by the way. When leaves start to taco, they are trying to hide from the light by only exposing a minimal amount of leaf. This was something I learned when I was using MH and HPS. I use all T5's now for veg and it has worked out wonderfully. I can put my 4 foot 8 lamp light inches away...

    Leaf edges curling up

curling up like tacos is a sign of either heat stress or overwater. In my case, it was both of these. Let them dry out and back the lighting off a bit. Give em a couple days or less and see if they perk up. Mine did, so good luck

Ribbed leaves, slow growth, werid coloration.

This kinda looks like my grape ape plant. It has some pretty rugged leaves like this plant. Have you started giving this plant any nutes yet? maybe go partial strength and see how it does.

Will this cause strenuous issue in the future?

Is it growing towards the light? Sometimes when small plants are searching for light, they stretch for it causing them to grow at an angle like that. I would put the light on the opposite side, or just move the plant around to see if that does the trick. Otherwise, wait until it gets more mature...

    Any ideas?

I dont use soil but I have read that fox farm is not the best soil for seedlings or clones, you need to wait until they are more mature to handle that hot of a soil.

    What are your ideas?

Looks like a water spot burn, did you foliar feed the plants recently? If so, you want to keep it at a very fine mist, almost atomized. Whenever I foliar feed I do it when the lights are off or I raise the lights up a bit just to play it safe. I wouldnt worry about it if that is the only spot

    bwatte's First Grow Journal

Alright I did my foliar feed for the week with floralicious plus. I also started to add nutes into the more mature plants, which are about 3 weeks old. Here are a few pics. By the way Im using house and garden aqua flakes A and B

Do these look healthy to you guys?

I thought they looked pretty good myself, but I wasnt sure about the leaves. Are they showing some sort of taco effect in the leaves? or is that what a heavy indica is supposed to look like? Thanks

is this going to be a problem? (light cycles)

Well if they are a month old with a good root system and they still aren't growing, what are you using for nutes and lighting?

is this going to be a problem? (light cycles)

Aeroponics are really sensitive to power interuptions, especially at this early of stage. After a month in the aero cloner you should have some roots on their showing. If so, it is time to transplant those into some rockwool plugs with the slit down one side, easy to slide rooted cuttings into...

    18 days into flower

Ya man they are looking good and quite healthy. Just give it some time and the buds will start forming. Im assuming you changes your nutes and feeding schedule when you started to flower? I know with the line of nutes I am using, once you go into flower than you change up things quite a bit and...
