I was wondering how easy it is to obtain hemp seeds. Just about everywhere I know of that sells marijuana seeds, are seeds for bud plants. I'm interested in starting to grow hemp if I can, for eating and making things from. Can someone point me to a good source for hemp seeds?

I can only say the fourth is definitely a dude. The third doesn't seem to have pistils, but they aren't balls.

Some people (not me) water the plants with sugar water once every week or two. Not sure how effective that is, but it's supposed to help with giving the plants CO2

Wood ash is good for lowering the pH. It's not an exact science though, so be careful.

First thing you should do, is only use one pot per plant. It's very risky business to have multiple plants in the same pot because the roots will get tangled together and compete for nutrients. As for the sex, you'll start to notice the sex of the plants the first couple weeks into flowering.

I'd leave it to what it's doing. The buds shouldn't be harmed as long as the plant stays healthy.

Even before my plant looked strong enough to survive more than a breeze, it went through 3 thunderstorms with big fat rain drops and high winds. I'd say your biggest concern is making sure the excess rain goes somewhere.

Garden variety top soil, for lawns and gardens. 3-4 parts top soil, 1 part peat moss.

If you just topped that recently, I'd suggest waiting at least another week or two minimum. Give the new branches time to start developing.

I'm still pretty new to growing, but according to different things I've read it won't cause problems if it only happens once. Changes to the light cycle on a regular basis will confuse the plant and stunt growth, but rare changes won't.

I'm using sunlight and gets 16-18 hours a day. It hasn't grown vertically since the bottom leaves started decaying.
