The Falcons OG #18, K-Train, LA Confidential RDWC Grow. Looking for advice.

Sure, but they don't "grow" to the light - remember, they aren't getting enough light to grow - they "stretch" to the light like a rubber band. I think a seedling has enough stored energy to get to the point where they're starting their first leaves. If they don't get enough energy from light...

The Falcons OG #18, K-Train, LA Confidential RDWC Grow. Looking for advice.

Sounds good, so long as the distance between each seedling top and the light bulb is about 24" they should be getting plenty of light. Sounds like they want some nutes, too...

The Falcons OG #18, K-Train, LA Confidential RDWC Grow. Looking for advice.

Well, if you want to get technical then you need about 2500 – 3000 lumens to reach the saturation point of a seedling. The saturation point is the point at which the leaves are receiving all the light they can use for photosynthesis (the engine for growth). Anything less than the saturation...

    The BubbleHead Gang

Like others have said, you can find the manifolds at Home Depot, Lowes, OSH, etc. in the lawn section where they have the drip and sprinkler supplies. Another old-timer! Welcome to the club! Where you at in your grow? I've been looking for a good Indica to grow next time around...

The Falcons OG #18, K-Train, LA Confidential RDWC Grow. Looking for advice.

Yeah, I would bump the light up to 600-watts since the seedlings aren't directly underneath it. I'm guessing you're just in the quiet before the storm, they'll probably be 3 times as big in a week. Ha, that setup looks perfect for a vertically hung bulb. There's no question you got the skills...

Wow, talk about pressure! I love your setup, it looks like a 4' X 4' room with what I assume is a 600-watt light? And it looks like you've got 6 (well-insulated ) buckets; but I'm trying to figure out how it works. It looks like a basic DWC modified for Bubbleponics with an external...

Ahhhh...a perfect lead-in to my next tutorial, which will deal with vegetating and timing the flip. In short, though, it basically amounts to this: with a horizontally-hung light your plants should really get no taller then the vertical penetration your light will support. With a...

Let me expand a little bit on my beliefs about growing trees versus methods like SOG or ScrOG; again, this applies to a single-source HID (and not multiple lights). First and foremost, the ability to grow trees in large part is dictated by the amount of light you are providing and how it is...

Thanks! One of the prerequisites, I think, for using a screen is easy access to all sides of the screen. That's why I put the entire setup on a stand with wheels - so I could easily pull it out of it's cubbyhole and get to all sides to train the plants. In a 4' X 4' tent, where I didn't ever...

White Spots On Leaves, PLEASE HELP!!

I reckon it would kill just about any insect, including ladybugs. If I was going to use a HotShot, then depending where you're at in your grow - I wouldn't use the HotShot for at least the last two weeks of the grow - I would use it for about two weeks to make sure the adults and larvae were...

OK, I left off talking about how I plan a grow to fill the horizontal footprint of the “flower box” with buds to maximize the yield. Basically, at all times I am trying to emulate a Sea of Green (SOG) type grow. If I don’t have enough plants to do a true SOG, then I’ll...

White Spots On Leaves, PLEASE HELP!!

Safer BioNeem or similar product are safe alternatives for insect control - I've used this successfully for the only spidermite attack I've had, which was caught early and was small-scale. It can be hard to completely eradicate the insects with biologically safe products. The HotShot No Pest...

Things are going pretty good. I finally got the pH to stabilize around 6.0, and the nutes stabilized around 1000ppm. They pretty much stay at these numbers all day, and all I have to do is add back 1000ppm water to replace what they ate and drank. The buds are starting to fill up nicely.
