I don't have a huge growspace but am very intersted in Himalayan Gold. My plan is to grow a few but keep them in relatively small pots. My current grow is in Week 4 of flowering and isn't more than 16" tall. They're still in 6" diameter pots. If I grow Himalayan Gold with the same technique...

This thread is from a long time ago... but does anyone know the answer? Thinking about trying to grow Himalayan Gold but don't want them to grow tall. Using CFLS, can without getting too tall? Not looking for a huge yield so would definitely start flowering relatively early.

I have all the Fox Farm Nutrients and go by the schedule on their website. It has been working really well. It makes everythin really easy too because there's a nice schedule all laid out for you. I have been watering every 3 days and use the nutrients on every other watering... so they eat...

I wonder how much of the water is actually lost through evaporation from the soil though. Doesn't most of it go through the plant? It definitely can't hurt though. Good idea!

The lights are on a timer for 12/12 since it is in flowering. I'm trying to figure out how much to overwater them. Like I said, I usually give them about 14 oz. every 3 days. Think an inch of excess H20 in the little trays will do? I know this is a difficult question to answer.

I'm going away for 6 days soon and was also wondering about aqua globes. I've heard some people say to overwater the plants before you leave and allow some water to sit in the pot-holding trays while gone. Would that be better than the aqua globe?
