I’m using a coco brand that comes with 50% perlite yea you don’t exactly need the extra perlite but I believe it offers more aeration.

The bubba kush I’ve got likes it pretty aerated and dry I’ve been using 50/50 coco perlite and there’s no way I could water this strain in coco every day till runoff without signs of overwatering some of the afghanicas I believe like it really dry.
