    Newish grower- looking for advice

Yup. K.I.S.S. Personally I would work on getting a consistent and stable grow space in regards to light intensity, temperature, humidity, and ventilation. After that you can really see what changes to nutrients and training can do for your yields. I tried to do topping and LST while going...

Run off ppms are super high!!!!

Don't bother with runoff if you're growing in soil. It's really only useful in hydro and soilless growing, and even then it's not vital information, just one piece of a puzzle. That being said your plants look healthy, don't sweat numbers. Just keep doing what you're doing.

RUN OFF PPM IS THIS OKAY?

I'm brand new to cannabis so it helped me confirm my suspicions when I had a slight problem. I do check it infrequently more for curiousity but I'm not even advocating that. I think it can be valuable information when you have a problem. Otherwise I believe feeding light, feeding often, and...

RUN OFF PPM IS THIS OKAY?

Holy assumptions Batman! Did you read my comment? I said runoff in coco is info, all info is valuable, followed by don't chase numbers, chase healthy plants. I quoted the person saying don't worry about runoff, your plants are healthy. We're on the same page mostly, except for you believing...

RUN OFF PPM IS THIS OKAY?

Okay? I, as a new grower, overfed and locked out calcium. Some of us do run into issues from time to time. Hopefully one day I may be as skilled a grower as you and only grow perfect plants.

RUN OFF PPM IS THIS OKAY?

Best answer. Runoff in coco is information and that is valuable, but reacting to that info too quickly is where most run into problems. Don't chase numbers, chase healthy plants.

    To far or good?

I'm new at this but they almost all look clear? Have pictures of the whole plant?

Vacation in 10 days. What would you do?

Yes, you've seen these plants before. I promise I'll quit bugging soon. Lmao. I'm going away in 10 days and trying to plan around these ladies a bit. Super Lemon Haze The pistils went brown about a week ago, and it's about 80/20 clear to milky trichomes. I'm guessing this will be ready to cut...

Indoors Spring 2020 auto grow... Join me...

In my assorted grow I have noticed that they all start to frost at different times. My Super Lemon Haze was crazy from the start of flowering while the Royal Gorilla showed very little initially but is absolutely packing it on now near the end. In other words, like how frosty, 90% is genetics.

    Oxygen absorbers

Take a look at their post history and I'd be shocked if you could back up 10% of what they say with any science. I'm about to give Grove Bags a shot for curing and storage. We shall see how they fare. From what I understand they do allow limited gas exchange but also promise little degradation...

Harvest, trim buds and bag it wet...

You own Grove Bags? Terp lock is their trademark I believe. They have you beat on price too, by a factor of 2 or more.

    Miracle tool

Personally I would go with their PH Soil meter. It's a bit more expensive than the PH pen but it can give you accurate results for your root zone PH and can also be used for nutrient solutions. The probe is also replaceable so long term it will be cheaper than getting a new pen every time the...

    Ligh intensity and internodal spacing

Yeah I have a PAR sensor from my aquarium days and those numbers seem much more in line with that. Though lux to PAR conversions are estimates and depend on light source, 2000 PAR is roughly equivalent to 100,000 lux.

    Fast Buds question

I'm curious what kind of lighting you both are running? I look to be on pace for Oldreefers finishing times and I have been counting Day 1 as ungerminated seed placed in soil, which apparently most count from the first day above ground sans seed cap.

    Ligh intensity and internodal spacing

This chart is either listing the PAR readings of those bulbs or it is grossly incorrect. 16000 lux is nowhere near what you have 12" below a 1000w HPS, like by a factor of 5-10 easy.

    I need support

I probably should have thought this through before but this plant is getting quite top heavy. The branches seem pretty strong but I'm concerned that as it plumps up the mains may topple. Is it too late to use some bamboo stakes? I'm concerned I'll damage the roots. This girl is in a 3 gallon...

    LED vs CMH

This is my first grow but I went with CMH w/LED. CMH covers UV to far red and everything in between while being about as efficient as HID gets. It also adds some heat, which is helpful most of the year in my climate and growing space. The LED strips add a ridiculous number of point sources...

My plants all have different run off valves, normal??

I would agree not to worry. Plants will feed differently and your values are close enough to the inputs it doesn't look like you're over feeding, and may be a little under feeding. PH values also seem right as coco has a natural PH of 6.2. No need to worry about feeding 600ml and only getting...

I know, I know, but how much longer?

I'm doing exactly that with two White Widows and two LSD that are both well behind these. Figure the side by side with the same strain will really let me see the difference between an earlier vs later harvest.

I know, I know, but how much longer?

Thank you. Honestly this is probably the clearest description I have read. The calyx swelling is what threw me the most. I have noticed so far that the colas formed and lengthened first then stopped and started growing significantly in girth for about a week-ish. Knowing that the swelling talked...
