First Time Grower - Results Discussion and Seeking Guru Comments

Thank you for the comments. I was fortunate to be able to start up as well I did ... all the home depot credit, home equity and personal savings withdrawals worked out well ROFL... I researched this room setup for over a year watching other friends start their operations... I got to see many...

need help how many fluroescent t5 tubes will i need for 6 to 10 plants

I use T5s for veg room as seen in the pics in this post. They are great and the eight tubers allow for turning them on and off in fours. These are better than MH IMHO. You can witch out the veg bulbs for grow bulbs or buy them with grow bulbs if you must use them for flowering. Granted, the...

    Grow Setup Comments

Sorry for the redirect but I'm trying to drive some discussion to my newbie central post and figured it was appropriate to link my post here. It's more of a general discussion for newbs but I'm looking for room setup advice and feedback too...

    Do my plants look pollinated

BTW it is possible that your plants could have hermied and pollinated themselves however you'd see little "nanners" in the mature buds... tiny banana like objects sticking out of your buds. I don't see seeds or nanners so I'm going with swollen calyxes. 90 days and 20% amber is hurry up and...

    Do my plants look pollinated

Those aren't seeds they are swollen calyxes and that's a good thing. If you're 20% amber then I'd be flushing. What strain?

    temps...

It is too high for flowering in general IMHO. You can get up to 85F with little concern but I wouldn't want to stay there for long periods of time. It is too high for flowering in general and you should be at low to mid 70's with 45-50% RH in flower room IMHO. Higher temp and RH in veg is ok...

First Time Grower - Results Discussion and Seeking Guru Comments

Purchased locally. About 5k gets you the two rooms built and all of the equipment in these pics, if you do it the right way. In my state, I can do a total of 12 plants per patient up to five patients and no more than 24 mature plants total and 12 in veg total. The setup in these pics gets me 6-8...

First Time Grower - Results Discussion and Seeking Guru Comments

Yeah it wasn't cheap but it was worth every penny and I still find myself lacking in certain areas. Namely no Co2 setup atm. Outside of that I didn't cut many corners if any. It could use better humidity control for sure but then I'm not blowing a nut on a decent dehu when I plan to go Co2 very...

First Time Grower - Results Discussion and Seeking Guru Comments

I've recently started my first grow. It is indoors. I'd like to start a thread for newbies to talk about their first time experiences and results and maybe to get some comments from the gurus on the site. Like you, I've dedicated quite a bit of realstate time and money and I'm anxiously drooling...

Chlorotic leaves or yellowing early into the flowering stage - seeking consensus

Not bad for my first grow despite my half-assed journal in my messed up post in the wrong forum :)

Chlorotic leaves or yellowing early into the flowering stage - seeking consensus

Well turns out that my early yellow leaves were due to poor ventilation under the canopy and this was fixed with a small fan rotating under the canopy. Here is one of the NLs in late week six. Here is the Blueberry Cheese - simply the best aroma I've ever experienced!!! Group shots...

Chlorotic leaves or yellowing early into the flowering stage - seeking consensus

So despite the bad color from the HPS and the fact that I only have one bad leave just starting to go, this doesn't give too much insight into my problem but as you can see they healthy plants at 8 weeks (2 in clone machine, 4 in veg and into 10 days of flowering) and the flowers are developing...

Chlorotic leaves or yellowing early into the flowering stage - seeking consensus

Thank you much for replying. Not able to upload pics until the wife gets home with the USB cable for my Nikon. You may have hit the nail on the head. I was emptying the runoff in veg but I have to water more frequently as of the first week of flower and more conservatively due to being in 3 gals...

I flushed with x2 water after posting this. It does not appear to be a burn or def... I'll update with pics and results in the near future. Hope to get some comments on yellowing during early flower.
