Well damn, these plants are blowing up! Super leafy compared most I've grow. I gave them each half a gallon drink on the 22nd. It contained full strength grow/cal mag, and this stuff I got in the mail for free sample called Hb-101. They have been blowing up. Here are a few pictures.

I'm not acting like anything, was just curious. you can grow 18 plants in a 3x3 with a cfls if you want. doesn't make it a good idea. hope you get more females than males!

Is there a reason you're running the 18 plants? seems like doing half that number and vegging a little longer would be better. what is the footprint of a 1000w hps? you're going to stuff 18 plants in there?

Pretty much you just need more light for the space you have. any of these lights will work. just read up on the type of light you buy. if you grow with t5s do what whitebb2727 said, Scrog it hard. shit unless your doing a 1000watt hps in there I'd Scrog or at least lst/top your plants.

Yup those are female pre flowers. Looking good! I also wouldn't worry about the little bit of nute burn on the tips. Go easy on the nutes for a couple more weeks. nice first grow

Gave them a little drink today with cal mag and grow(veg) nutes. Still growing strong. Have not done much except tucking the bigger fan leaves under the stems.

Very happy with the new growth over the laSt two days. The one that came up second seems to have more vigor in identical growing conditions. that's also the same one that has branches growing from the first leaves. I know I said I wasn't going to include my current plants in flower but...

That's some pretty big node spacing, bigger than I've ever had! picturing it unstretched it looks like it has the right amount of leaves. You said this is your first grow in soil/led combo, does that mean you've grow before? What light is it? model number? diy?

Good growth for the last two days. Not much else to add, they are pretty much on auto pilot for the next couple of weeks. Light schedule 20/4 2ft 4 bulb 96watt t5ho 6500.

We'll the density has a few variables, probably the biggest being genetic but in my own experience better lighting gives me denser buds. All that aside, you're doing good man! I think you will be happy with whatever you get out if it. Take the experiences you got this grow and do better next time

Yeah maybe! my first grow was under like 100watts of cfls and I got 18grams dried. fluffy but I got high for a few weeks hah.

You can put them in there, but check them often to see if there are any actual males.
