    Vented DWC?

The light trap would be easy. Image attached. More than anything else, i'd be curious about whether it's even worth doing. I mean, basically you're making an NFT system, but different.

Placing budsites INSIDE a spiral CFL?

With some of the big huge 200w bulbs (u-bend rather than spiral) you could probably do it. You'd just need to be really careful about air-flow.

    Vented DWC?

I was thinking that this might further oxygenate the roots Don't NFT systems have the roots exposed to mostly air?

    60 Plant Grow Setup

using a larger reservoir to mix also makes your mixtures more consistent and can make them more precise (if you use an EC/TDS/pH meter)

I call it: The BillyBob scrOG.

Keeping an eye out for those new pics... :) What kind of hydro setup are you using, out of curiosity?

Get 100% of your light to your plant -- an eliptical, CFL grow space

You could, actually. You'd just need more distance between the bulb and your plants. A 1000w hps bulb vertical (or two, one right next to the other) could make for a nice setup you could do more than one plant, you'd just have to turn them daily and make sure that the little ones get...

what the hell just happened to me?

I just nearly passed out off of one joint. ONE. I was fighting in for literally ten minutes and then it just faded... there is no way this bud was actually that good... was it laced? what the hell just happened?

    Vented DWC?

Once the roots get long and grow down, could you lower the water level, keeping some of the roots in it but exposing some, and blow air from outside through across the water? It would oxygenate the roots above the water and hydrate the roots under it...?

Purple CFLs? Emission follows photosynthetic curve...

 it's not wide spec, but it does cover some of the blue... ok, so i just looked around more and it seems like there are CMH bulbs with all sorts of different emission spectra. That's really strange...

    T5 fixtures

Yup, 60 inches = 5 feet. You'd wire each power supply to two bulbs only. So to do more bulbs, you'd just put combinations of two bulbs per ballast together, every two lights wired to its own ballast.

Purple CFLs? Emission follows photosynthetic curve...

No, but i'm looking at them. I can't decide what i think about them yet. And i can't find them anywhere, not the high-wattage ones anyway... Their emission spectrum confuses me, haha. it's kinda strange...

    T5 fixtures

i just looked into this... from what i just came up with, you can make your own 80w T5 fixtures for... $42 per 80w bulb F80T5 Fluorescent Ballast F80T5 HO Mini Bi Pin Programmed Start Fluorescent Light Bulbs T5 Lamp Socket, w/Long Bracket Light Bulb it's completely DIY, but it's cheapish.

:weed: 50 colas! that's awesome man... I could go back and check, but how far into flowering are you? Total time since sprouting/rooting? So, uh, you're gonna walk me through my scrog.... right?!

Get 100% of your light to your plant -- an eliptical, CFL grow space

I gots and idear. I'm not really sure about any of this, it's a probe into the public knowledge to see if this has been done. I've been thinking a lot about high-wattage CFL growing... The 200w, full spectrum 5000k bulbs cost $57 bucks, and with the rule of thumb of 150w per...

Purple CFLs? Emission follows photosynthetic curve...

I'm trying to do this low-heat, so i'm staying away from MH/HPS for now... Combining the red and blue spectrums seems to work well though?
