i get it at walmart for 96cents sometimes the 2.5 gallon jug for 1.99:) i use it for seeds and young plants then i switch them to tap water for the minerals and calcium but mine hangs right around neutral...

hey jock you want to have your light as close as possible too! you dont want the plants getting any taller than they have too! just a tip :)

the dryer it is in flower the more resin the plant produces to protect it self!! but not too dry then you get brown tips!

the lime is key!! i used about a 1/4 cup per 3 gal pot and my ph has never needed adjusting:) soil growers cant skip the lime:) and if you can only get pellets grind them or it takes a few months to actually work...good tips jesse!!

how is the filter working?? did you have smell already??

do you have a well or is it city water?? you might want to look into a water softener for the whole house ..they make laundry and dishes better and shower -bath time will be better for your skin:) my buddy has one he loads about 200 lbs of salt per year for the whole family...well worth it!

few more days:)look for two white hairs coming out of the lil pods where the branches meet on pic 3:)they will shoot out of the points on top of those teardrop shaped things..

yup but i follow another guy from the other forums...DRBUDGREENGENES i found his thread and fell in love with the growing style!! he is an old head who was a big time commercial grower in the 80's and now shrunk all that cash crop knowledge into a small package for very efficent growing!! guys...

you can use fish tank ph supplies but i think that meter might be off most townships and cities in the usa keep the ph closer to 7.0... did it come with a calibration liquid??? ph is pretty important for things to be normal make sure the meter is on point it could mess you up big time if you dont:)

i got a couple of those small flouros for camping ...they are great but they suck down batteries make sure you get a/c adapters for them..:) with two sets of rechargables you could do it but it would be alot of work...

there are a bunch of cool diy ideas .. if your not really handy or dont have a bunch of tools i can find you a really easy one...there are vides on youtube too just type "diy carbon filter"
