sounds like air's got into ur stem one of 2 things #1 recut above damaged or affected area (anything yellow or black has to be removed including leaves, Do not remove whole leaves unless over 50% damaged) #2 start again sounds cruel but sometimes its best to cut ur losses as slow & lagging...
