No worries, If I remember correctly it was cavadge that was trying for hair roots too soon, don't worry about your cycle intervals until your roots are 3-4" long. Its possible that your pot is preventing more volume, but this is also not a concern. Spaghetti roots are fine and yours look...

Accidental clones huh? Were you messing around with mint, or pixie dust? I'm aware that in fact there are many plants that reproduce asexually, however MJ always seems to need an extra nudge in the right direction. In my mind its always best to provide the most optimal environment to negate...

r0m Here are the basics to avoid confusion (Sorry trichy for briefly jackin the thread). Now this is my method, there is always someone out there who will disagree or expand. To cut clones I use a combination of sterilized pharmaceutical scissors and a new sterilized razor blade. Before you...

Yes, tefen are acetyl. Tefen is what I prefer for cloning, what seems to be the problem with your system? Are you recycling your res? Are you using Gel or Powder hormone? What are your mist cycles? Are you using a humidome?

We prefer community or group. You seem to be interested enough, I'm surprised no one has offered you any cool-aid yet? Just out of curiosity, does Botanicare, C.A.P, GH, atomix, all pay royalties to AgriHouse for marketing their systems as "Aeroponics"? Exactly what patents are we infringing...

The problem is not that he is marketing a multi-ponic design necessarily, the issue is that there is already plenty enough mis-information online and in retail stores regarding any type of Aero, he doesn't need to perpetuate this problem with his uneducated antics regarding the subject. I would...

Why haven't you left a comment on his website yet mike? The only thing worse than the amount of money this guy has invested in this system, is the amount of money some poor bastard is going to spend on it. You'll never see a mutt more deserving of euthanasia.

Have you thought about trimming and widening the holes in the pots to prevent restriction? Most pots are fairly durable, you might be surprised how nonrestrictive you can make them. What size pot are you using?

Have you kept cotton in a pot for over a week? Its messy as hell, just because its not "documented" its not to say a perfectly viable system for germination in Aero does not exist... If you want to explain your method in detail as to how much cotton you use, and when and if you remove it, I'd...

Cotton swabs (or most other organic materials) decompose fairly quickly and are a magnet to algae and bacteria. It is also very difficult to remove from the pot after rooting, and has a tendency to clog filters and heads quickly if you recycle during cloning or germination. I don't recommend it.

The roots are always a min of 6" above the bottom of my chambers. I did not see any change in the roots nor plants during the time the ice was in the chamber. My accumulator is only 2 gallons/chamber. They are smaller and I do plan on adding some well tanks when I get around to it. For the...

Different strokes... most individuals don't have close to a 16' chamber. Besides running excess line into a bucket of ice water, how are your nutes cooled en route to your nozzles? My lines are black nylon and would absorb much heat energy if outdoors which would defeat the purpose of icy res...

For immediate relief of high chamber temps, I recommend ice in the chamber. The water in my accumulator can stand for over an hour between pump cycles, before being sprayed. Whereas, ice in the chamber can lower temps rapidly and efficiently without the loss of as many BTUs outside the chamber...

    True HP Aero For 2011

Ive never had to deal with high temps, but it occured a while back that if necessary one could always throw a bag or block of ice in a chamber in the event of an emergency, or for the very least, peace of mind. If your chamber is insulated (which I highly recommend) enough ice should last long...

So do you make a point to check on a regular basis i.e. every other week, or once a month? And when you do recognize a change in flow your only rectification (besides replacing faulty nozzles) is adjusting your timing correct? If you are checking regularly I can truly understand the full...

So how often and by how much do the flows of your nozzles vary from one to another. And how much is that variable compared to the manufacturers specs? Do you measure each nozzle and group them according to similar flow rates in your findings? I just ask because as far as I know... nozzle flows...
