AeroJunkie's High Pressure Air-Assisted Hydro-Atomized Aeroponic System (HPAAHAAS)

I live in a very hot area of the country. I only grow in the winter, my ambient temp never exceeds 85* in my enclosed sealed room. My roots can not survive in that environment. Chamber temps need to be below 70* min imo.

AeroJunkie's High Pressure Air-Assisted Hydro-Atomized Aeroponic System (HPAAHAAS)

Internally cooled chamber walls is what I am designing. I am going to use a polystyrene SHEET (same as I am using now) to cover the coil and complete the wall structure. The coil would be resting directly against the polystyrene SHEET and insulated by the 2" polystyrene FOAM (I am not yelling...

AeroJunkie's High Pressure Air-Assisted Hydro-Atomized Aeroponic System (HPAAHAAS)

Ok, I need thoughts. I have been contemplating the design of this next chamber and I have all the resources to fabricate, I just want to run the idea past you guys. I am thinking rather than using a compressor and condenser I would instead just incorporate a coil within the walls flush against...

AeroJunkie's High Pressure Air-Assisted Hydro-Atomized Aeroponic System (HPAAHAAS)

Polystyrene sheeting. It is one of the less expensive poly materials available and being that my insulation is of the same material I figured it would be easier to bond the two materials. However the 3m polystyrene adhesive I was using did not work as well as "great stuff" polyurethane...

AeroJunkie's High Pressure Air-Assisted Hydro-Atomized Aeroponic System (HPAAHAAS)

I was hoping no one quoted me before I could delete that last post. I may have stepped over the line on that one. I think an upside down aero chamber sounds sweet.

I though I was bad at staying on topic... Here you guys are talking about eating pussy. I like mine raw and wriggling btw.

AeroJunkie's High Pressure Air-Assisted Hydro-Atomized Aeroponic System (HPAAHAAS)

Agreed, but with enough top mounted nozzles this could be rectified. Though it would be overly and unjustifiably expensive.

AeroJunkie's High Pressure Air-Assisted Hydro-Atomized Aeroponic System (HPAAHAAS)

The sales manager posted on the site because I requested it. It was just a quick listing. I would need to contact them for nozzle specs. I would imagine it is almost, if not, identical with the Hart nozzles for less than half the price.

AeroJunkie's High Pressure Air-Assisted Hydro-Atomized Aeroponic System (HPAAHAAS)

Hell, a manufactured grow chamber with an ac compressor and freon loop would be frickin awesome. Plug it in, kick it on, and watch the grass grow. My next project for sure.

AeroJunkie's High Pressure Air-Assisted Hydro-Atomized Aeroponic System (HPAAHAAS)

So Im thinking screw all the home built chambers, pick up a few used chest freezers on c-list for 100.00 a pop, line it with polystyrene sheeting (maybe not even necessary). Bypass the t-stat with one capable of maintaining a temp between 50-80. Drill some holes in the damn thing and throw some...

AeroJunkie's High Pressure Air-Assisted Hydro-Atomized Aeroponic System (HPAAHAAS)

So I contacted relab and they do manufacture the Ultrasonic Atomizers. They run 52.00 each for both the nozzle and adapter housing in 303 SS. They just posted them on the website this morning. As always remember to order in NPT. http://www.i-spraynozzle.com/en/Ultrasonic-Atomizer-427.html I...

AeroJunkie's High Pressure Air-Assisted Hydro-Atomized Aeroponic System (HPAAHAAS)

I've been getting pricing on all items for the last hour. The electric ultrasonic atomizers run 800-1500/set. The Hart equivalent nozzles are no longer manufactured by the company. And the killer problem on the hydro supplier is the shipping. 230 us for 2 ballasts by air. However the...

AeroJunkie's High Pressure Air-Assisted Hydro-Atomized Aeroponic System (HPAAHAAS)

Anyone know how I can post a link to a pdf file? I just got pricing from a hydro gear distributor and I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the costs. This supplier has numerous items from ballasts to tents to LEDs.

AeroJunkie's High Pressure Air-Assisted Hydro-Atomized Aeroponic System (HPAAHAAS)

I will get pricing on these nozzles. I am sure they are the cheap version (lower price and or possibly lesser quality) of Hart Environmental nozzles http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/497731957/MA_TYPE_ULTRASONIC_ATOMIZERS_AMD_fog_.html I would love to know more about this one, perhaps you...

Ok, that makes sense. Have you played with these nozzles in the past? Are they as efficient with air as they claim to be?

AeroJunkie's High Pressure Air-Assisted Hydro-Atomized Aeroponic System (HPAAHAAS)

There is not a whole lot of info on their website. Do you have a pdf of the flow rates, nozzle sizes, and pressure requirements? Is this just an external mix impingement nozzle or does it have an internal oscillator?
