    I have one female for sure but not sure about these 2. Plants "a" has 2 bumps together..I thought I read somwhere that it indicate a male. Plant "a" has pitch fork shaped pretrusions. Any idea of the sex of these? Plant A Plant B

    I've been battling pH issues...the pH keeps wanting to climb so I have had to keep adding pH down to keep it around 5.2-5.8. I had to do a nute change within 9 days because my TDS readings were off the scale. I'm using GH 3-part and cal mag. I'm hoping the nute changed helped...the newer...

    I change my nutes every 7 to 10 days now. I went 2 weeks once and the plants looked awful. My tap water has a pH of about 7.9. After adding nutes, I get it down to about 5.3 or so with pH down. I'll come back later that same day and the pH is back to 6.2 or so. I'm having to use so much pH...

    How much super thrive should I be using? I added one drop per gallon when I do a nute change but haven't been adding it since.

    I am constantly having to add pH down to my solution. Di yiu guys recommend anything to stabilize the pH? I am using filtered tap water (through a PUR filter) so I'm guessing that may be part of the issue.

    Thanks Mogie...I'm using metal halide so maybe its not necessary that I prune.

    How many of you routinely prune your plants to give more light to the lower branches? I haven't, but I can see where the lower branches may benefit. this is my first grow though..i'd hate to f them up by pruning when I shouldn't be.
