I would say you would need somewhere in the 900w range in LED's to match 2KW HPS. You will probably grow a higher quality bud with the 900w LEDs.

They are pretty cheap. You can get a 300w panel for $500. Or spend $200 on a ballast, $200 on a hood, 100 on some decent bulbs, $200 for a can fan and ducting....How is HPS/MH cheaper than LED?

NASA plans to use LED lighting to grow crops for crews to eat on long missions like to Mars. LED's would last the length of the round trip unlike any other light source.

From what I've gathered the "albino" thing is like a mutation. This plant has grown funky since day one. Weird leaves and curling...I have heard that the dwarfs are prone to this sort of thing...

It's the closest to the light? I dunno.

It has looked this white in the same areas for like 3 weeks, no spreading at all and all the other buds are still packing on weight, I'm not worried...

How can 300w of LED bleach this badly? I have NEVER had any light bleaching in 6 years under all sorts of lighting.
