Boneman, don't be sorry, I was hoping you'd interject:mrgreen:. I'm assuming that a 400hps needs a cooltube, ventilation, inline fans???? Is it possible to use a 400hps in a closet 8ft H x 5ft W x 2ft D using a squirell cage fan for exhaust, with the door cracked about 1 inch for ventillation?

Absolutely.... You have to be sure that you're using the correct nutes for the particular life cycle that your plants are in. The three number combination tells you the concentration of specific nutes which are applicable during the life of the plant. Hope this didn't sound redundant.

I had the same problem with my girls when they first started. See if this helps you any. I used some toothpicks and thread to fashion a splint for each of the girls until they could stand up straight on their own.:peace:

I'm currently running a cfl grow, but I see the difference in hps and cfl. How much heat will a 600 hps put off? Is this viable for both veg and flower? I'm just curious because my power bill for this month is 94.00 with 12 cfls and I'm sure it'll be more with an hps. Thanks:leaf:
