Sometimes if its dry enough, it doesn't seem to matter either way. Placing the whole nug in the bowl and applying a small amount of pressure makes it all pulverized. If its sticky and moiste, I break it up a lil more than usual.

Maybe I looked in the wrong place when I checked Walmart for mason jars the last time. They had all kinds of plastic ones, but no real glass mason jars. I ended up going to a Truevalue Hardware Store and getting some. But they didn't have the latch tops like I wanted, just the 2-part jar lids.

I've never tried those Volcanos before, but I have tried the Vapair ONE and my trusty old wooden box one. I can get em at wholesale prices. I ended up selling my Vapair ONE cause I didn't really like it. I think it was just because its a cheaper model than the Volcano and the blower on it sucks...
