    What soil to get?

I had to edit because I forgot MG isn't like the generics and I use mostly generics and then add tyhe manure to beef it up a little

    What soil to get?

I use about the same except that I use manure instead of Jiffy Starter. Manure is naturally Ph neutral and is a mild fertilizer and works well for me. Actually though I use a cheap potting mix, got it for $3 dollars a cubic ft

    Molasses for autos

When molasses is added to organic fertilizers, it provides food for the healthy microbes in the soil. The greater amount of microbial activity in the soil, the healthier plants will be. Add molasses at a rate of 1 to 3 tablespoons to 1 gallon of fertilizer for best results. You use it in...

I also have had 100% success in germing all my seeds. That really sucks!!!!

    Germ success 100%

I planted 2 Auto Ultimate, 3 Auto Haze, 1 Auto Lemon and 2 Fantasmo Express. They all germed and came up except that through sheer clumsiness I killed an Auto Haze so I germed another and planted it. On that one the case split in 2 days so I put it in open side down and today, 2 days later it...

[Help]what you think about this seed?

Grow it!!! It's the only way you can find out it's genetics, by seeing the final result. It could be mediocre bag weed or it could be killer. You won't know how good it is until it has run it's course and winds up as smoke in your lungs.Of course it can be tested when it's mature but what's the...

    Seedsman Review

I bought from Seedsman this time and my overall experience was excellent. 1. They had a great selection, I was able to find what I wanted which was Auto Ultimate to begin with. Then I browsed and chose Auto Lemon and Auto Haze just for the heck of it. I give them a 9 out of 10 on selection 2.I...

    First grow in 20 yrs

Lowryder from what I've read isn't a particularly high yielding strain. Lowryder 2 is better from what I've read and the strength has been improved also. That being said, it is also one of the fastest producers, and if you make your own seed from it, you can continue to enjoy that speed in...

Got my seeds and I am pleased so far

By "Good News" I was meaning good news to you receiving your shipment. Waiting is so difficult and once they're there it is such a relief. One never knows when you are going to be the next "victim" of a seizure at the customs. I will say that the packaging of mine was ingenious to say the least...

Got my seeds and I am pleased so far

Good news! All my seeds popped, I germinated them in wet paper towels as I did 30 years ago and have done ever since and when the root showed put them in the soil. I have one peeking through now and it's the Fantasmo Express.

    first auto-grow seed starting questions

I am trying out Jiffy pots. They are made of peat and virtually disintegrate when you plant the whole pot with the plant in the final container. That being said, I have read over and over, #1 rule with autos, do NOT transplant. If the Jiffy pots work, great, if they don't, well, I'll be happy...

    Fox farm nutes for autos?

Thank God they're autos, the last time I put an indoor plant outside and brought back in the whole room got spider mites. That was way back in '84 under 2 400W mh's. I had 12 plants get infected and it like to ruin everything.

Looking for some decent Blues - Any ideas ?

You know, years ago I grew some blue and purply bud (80's) and, although it was good smoke, for some reason the dried color just put me off. That darker color dried just doesn't seem right to my old pea brain. I'll get up some gumption though, maybe next year, and try some of that auto blue...

Got my seeds and I am pleased so far

Update, on closer inspection one of the auto ultimates had the root peeking out just a little so I put her in a potl. That makes 5 of 7. If the hazes pop I think I'll pop a couple more and put them in the ground in a special spot I used last year.

Got my seeds and I am pleased so far

So far on day 2 of germinating 4 out of 7 have popped. Both Fantasmo Express, the Auto Lemon and one of the Auto Ultimates. All the popped ones went immediately into pre-soaked peat pots with a seed starting mix in them that is a very light and fine soil. When the second set of leaves come I...

Got my seeds and I am pleased so far

So, any luck getting them yet? I have faith that they'll arrive safe and sound. I just started germing mine today. I am doing 2 Ultimates, 1 lemon, 2 Haze, and 2 Fantasmo expresses. I might do 2 more Haze and put them out in a spot in the ground. I will let them do their initial growth in peat...
