    Thai stick

Around '81 or '82 we got some Thai sticks that were supposedly grown in Hawaii. It was green and had a great smell and taste and the high was phenomenal, like a Sativa Indica cross, very strong. I grew some plants from the few seeds one would find in it (1 or 2 per stick) and what I grew was...

    Outdoor auto??

THX.1138 (Good Movie by the way) hinted on the main question. What kind of climate are you looking at. I did some Auto Ultimate in our hot 40% to 50% humidity and they did well. Most strains do best in a mid 80's environment, nights not too cold. The breeders descriptions are based on ideal...

How many oz are you getting from your autos

Reverse a plant, collect the pollen and start making your own seed! Very doable and within a few gens you'll have a pretty stable pheno.

    germinate

As long as it is white it should be o.k. but like Tazz said, be careful

    Making Balls on a Lady

I have hear putting them in the fridge for a few weeks to simulate winter will do the trick.

Are my buds done yet Afgan K. Larry pics included.

Tazz&indy pretty much said it. I would only add that from my personal preference I like Sativa a bit earlier when just over half the hairs have turned and the trichs are just cloudy with no amber. I like my Indica just as tazz stated with just a few amber trichs and mostly all the hairs red or...

Is there enough time to self autos?

EverythingsHazy is right on the money. I had a reversed plant outdoors wilt from the excessive heat and so I cut him/her down to collect the pollen. I had not sprayed with CS for at least 2 weeks. I noticed when I looked her over that she had started producing more new female flowers on the...

    Making Balls on a Lady

I like them yes. As autos the are one of the best I have tried. Just grow as you would any auto, however I think bone meal worked into the soil during bloom really helps to expand and tighten the buds, that's what I have done and the difference between with and without is very noticeable.

    Making Balls on a Lady

I started another Auto Ultimate, just got the seeds last Monday and she's up and growing already.. I know it's late and she won't get very big but she is just a breeder for seed. I have the pollen saved so we'll see what happens in about 60 days It'll put the finish in mid December but we...

    The best auto ?

Auto Ultimate and Fantasmo Express were the best out of the 4 strains I grew last. I reversed a Fantasmo and saved the pollen and am currently growing an Auto Ultimate to pollinate. The Ultimate is a good Indica high, The Fantasmo is a strong more cerebral Sativa-like high. Both together ought...

Lets make some Femanized auto seeds.

I saved some pollen from mine and am just now starting a new Auto Ultimate. We'll see what happens in a couple months.

    Are they ready for harvest??

Without looking at the trichomes themselves you'll have to judge by the pistils(hairs). If more than half are red or brown then it's about ready. I like about 3/4 or more to have turned. Can't really tell from your pics.

    Making Balls on a Lady

So, here's the bad news. We got a week of over 100* weather (38* C) and the last day it hit 105. I hadn't checked on the parent for a day but had just watered her the day before. She was only about a 2 foot high plant when she was full and I had trmmed off the top main cola and branches leaving...

    Think Different and Blue Mammoth!

Sounds good, I'd try it. Maybe half the recommended dose and hold off on PK for a feeding and see what happens.

Fish Emulsion can be gotten just about anywhere and it is a good organic source of N.

Is this much Stretch normal in a UK greenhouse?

I wouldn't worry too much about the stretch, GowUrOwnDank pretty much said it. I understand about your dog man, sorry about your loss.. I had to have an old friend put down earlier this year. He was just too old. He's resting in the pasture now but I sure miss the conversations we had. He talked...

    Making Balls on a Lady

On the 2 branches left that I pollinated some of the calyxes are getting very big and there is no trace of pistils on them at all. I am assuming these are seed filled calyxes. I will check them periodically when I water and in about 3 weeks I will open one up if they are not split already and...

    Making Balls on a Lady

I would only sift the dry flowers, besides I pulled an opened dry flower off one of the two bottom branches and quite a bit of pollen fell out which I immediately rubbed on the few pistils left. I think I'm fine, the damn pollen is so fine my old decrepit eyes can't see it very well.. The...

    Making Balls on a Lady

It also occurred to me I could crush the flowers and rub them through a fine sieve. What do you think, would that damage the pollen?

    Making Balls on a Lady

The plant is sitting in a vase over a glass pie plate right now. I will let it sit for a couple more days and then do what you said. All the pistils on the bottom branches I left on the recipient female shriveled fast, so I am hopeful there are seeds, if not I will have some pollen saved in the...
