Sounds good to me ! I'm growing in my heater closet ! It's about the same size and I've got a 400 watt hps in there now ! Not too bad heat wise the worst it gets is the low 80s. I started out with a st.hydr 6 hole set up , ended up taking one plant out and putting it in dirt it was a real runt ...

I think if you top her she will slow way down growth wise but I doubt it will do any damage, and you should be able to clone the top you take off.

Your on your way just be patient ! If your using Stealth hydro nutes just use 1/2 one day wait 2 days and use the other half. Wait till they get another set of leaves first you don't want to over nute them.. Check out Rosemans tutorial he gives you a good time line on nutes...

Get on Amazon and take your pick ! Quite a few people here recomend GH butlook into Technaflora they have a kit called "recipe for success" with all their products and a complete chart to get you going its only about 26 bucks. Seems great for someone to start with... Or just check out Stealth...

Sorry Stickdaddy I couldn't resist! Unfortunatly I don't think I could tell what strain they are but a guess would be at least some indica just a guess from the look of the leaves. I'm growing some ak48 and they look the same to me at this stage..

Not sure what the problem is ,just did a res change and added nutes from SH kit. ppm is about 1200 and ph is about 6.2 The leaves are getting a crinkly kind of look ? and a few spots are appearing . Thanks for any info these are my first hydro grow (ak48) about 20 days from seed.

Was wondering if I turned my lights (400w hps) off for 3 hrs during the warmer part of the day would that bother anything? There 3 wks in veg. in a hydro sys.Thanks

Yeah I got screwed as far as I'm concerned ! The cfls I ended up with were only 26 watts ! Not the 100 that was writen in LARGE letters on the package !! Unfortunatly when I got them I wasn't wearing my f---en glasses!! I've got my 400 watt hps on now , maybe for my next grow I'll get a better...

I just use the drain in the side of my res. Run a hose out in the hallway and open the valve and drain into a bucket! I didn't think you'd have to wipe the sides of the tank!? So far so good! I'll do my third change today..I've also heard of people using a shop vac ! Wonder if that would suck up...
