I'd be very happy with 9 ! I'll just have to wait and see how the clones do, my first try at hydro first try at cloning ,at least I'm getting some practice in !! Plus since I'm tired of waiting if the clones work I'll start them in flower after 2 wks !! I lost my patience till I at least get one...

Well I'm pissed after 5 wks of babying my 4 ak48s 3 turned male on me !! I yanked um this morning and was wondering. Can I make canna butter with 3 male plants or can I make bubble hash with it ? Is there anything besides a compost heap in the future for these little orphans.?

Tamjam, Plants look great and so do your pics !! I jumped the gun on mine I thought I had 4 fem I goofed !! I found 3 plants out of 6 are male !! after all that time and work !! bummer !! But I just cut 4 clones from one female just hope they take root soon,,,good luck your grow looks great!!

Nice, I started 6 ak48s nov 30 seeds in hydro all popped in 2 days grew real nice but now in the second wk of flowering I've got 3 males !!! Damn after all that work my 2 largest bushyest plants and I have to rip them out !!! I hope I can get a little bubble hash out of them at least !!!

I have a 400 watt hps there are on either end of the fixture a 6" opening ,I taped a 6" dryer vent hose to one end and hooked ( taped) the other end over a 6" in line fan and the fan vents through a hole into the attic. cost less than 40 bucks..

The 2700s are for flower I believe you want 6500 k for vegging...

A 150 will be fine it shouldn't be much of a heat problem but your buds will like it much more than a small cfl for flowering ..

Neem oil or a special soap for plants you can get these at home depot or any plant or landscape store...

I'm using a 400 watt hps in a very small closet with no problems the weather is a little cooler now but Ionly have a 4" inline fan pulling through the light. The 400 really puts out the light though if you can thats the way to go... Or just stick with cfls they run real cool...
