If the whole plant only threw a few seeds total they could be perfectly good to run. ....This I know from having done it myself a few times and ended up with straight females that ran well with no problems.

I use pieces of coat hanger shaped much the same way and never had any issue. Course I only use soil. Rubber coated hangers I could reuse over and over but the metal ones tend to rust and got pitched after 1 run. I always pinned down LST this way.
