Ferts are only good for "food" and getting the best for your plants. As far as flavor, taste and size - sure ferts help out a lot but so does everything else such as light, soil and water quality. The difference with tiger bloom versus the other ferts I've tried - awesome growth and bud size...

Sure you can do that - would not hurt. The only problem I foresee is that your clones may start off slow but that's ok.
