i have an electronic ballast i bought along with a reflector and a HPS nad MH 600watt. i was wondering if i could put a 1000 watt bulb in there or do i need to invest in an entire new ballast too??? the ballast does say MH&HPS1-600EB and lamp MH&HPS 600W...so basically the ballast says 600 all...

you should really start them in sumin smaller than a 1gal pot (i prefer red beer pong cups). i always wondered why some people started them in such a large pots. i learned startin in sumin smaller helps the roots grow larger & stronger and theres less surface area to steal much needed light...
