I had stretch problems during my first grow and LST'ed all of the ladies. IT worked like a charm.

Thanks for all the posts. I think I'll add another 600 W. That would be 1000W total and would open the door for many different layouts. Big loc, That area sounds prime for 3 600's if you could get rid of the heat.

Alright, let's get some numbers on what folks are using for their hempy grows. Perlite, Vermiculite, rocks, Coco, what else? What have you used, what do you prefer, and why?

Move the lights to the top of the room. You are killing the poor little things IMHO. More humidity and less light.

Out of curiosity, why not use 2L bottles instead of 16 oz cups. Your yield will increase significantly. I've tried the 16 oz cup deal and you don't get much per plant. 2 Liter bottles take up very little extra room. Just something to stew on.

Today was a beaut! I'll try to get some pics. Snow's starting to creep down, close to base of 6 now. Do you think adding a 600W with the 400w would be worth it? That seems to add a few watts and give some flexibility with future design.

I'm using a 4x4 tent and want to increase yield. Heat isn't a problem for 7 months out of the year. What do you recommend for lights? I could add another 400 or 600W relatively easily. This would give quite a few options for customization. Then again, a 1000W would be great too. What's best...

Thanks, Socata. I'm probably LST'ing again. That seems to produce and I wouldn't have to worry about 5 different strains getting picked @ different times through a screen. Setting up 5 individual screens doesn't seem worthy @ this time. I'll run grab some pics and post up later.
