Zombie plant - Almost through week 12

Bagseed, been through hell. I'm thinking another week before harvest window opens. What do you think? I mean, other than she looks like a salmon that just got done spawning.

How close is the light? And is it dimmable?

Gaia Green, Mars sp 3000, FFOF, blueberry

Y'all are talking about the new MH lights and I thought I'd throw in my two cents. I have no experience with LEDs, but based on manufacturer recommendations for operation and my own rudimentary research, I am surprised by this TSW2000 (300W). I have to keep my 4x4 tent temp below 78 or the...

I'm pretty happy with how the veg tent is going. So I hit all plants with some 4-4-4, added a layer of compost to the tops, and raised the light back up to 27". I'll probably switch to flower in another week or so. Clones keep coming out and I keep potting them. Most are doing pretty well...

Is it normal at this point of flowering weed doesnt get me high - part 2

This idea of drying and smoking pistiled buds at eight weeks, with sworn testimonials to its efficacy, makes me think of the poser teen girl to whom we used to give grape juice when telling her it had vodka. She would commence "getting drunk"--and even act like it.

High quality compost, easier said than done.

I looked up vermicomposting vs. composting for the first time. I have been vermicomposting all along. lol

High quality compost, easier said than done.

Copy that. Took my first grow (and part of the next) to figure out exactly what my compost lacks. As long as I use that compost and add the proper amendments, I have great soil--now. There was certainly a learning curve. The bonus comes when I use that compost for my garden. Growing weed has...

I ditched the super crop since it was growing so slowly. I have been doing lots of LST and rearranging on the others. A few clones had enough roots for planting. I'll switch to flower after they straighten out and stretch a bit. Gotta get those clones back in the 2x2 after drying the one that's...

    First time growing

They usually pop pretty quick. Best case scenario is two days. I'm glad to hear you have a couple more seeds to try some more. The original ones still might sprout!

    First time growing

I had a feeling you'd show up to this thread. I also plant directly into soil and never have a problem. If soil is the final growing place, you (OP) have two fans of that method right here.

    First time growing

Lots of variables in that story could be contributing to a longer sprout. If you damaged the taproots when moving them from water to peat tablet, if you planted them in tight potting soil (or packed it down), if they landed upside-down in the starting soil. A damaged taproot could be the end...

First timer - organic grow questions

I'm no expert, but if my leaves looked like that the first thing I'd adjust is my lights. Those LEDs might be too close even though the temps are fine.

3 weeks old 3rd grow asking for pointers

If you want more bud sites, research into topping and Low-stress Training (LST). This forum (just use the search function) and many websites and books hold a lot of information on the topics. They're simple techniques that are very approachable by new growers. This webpage gives a simple...

    Question about seeds

If you must use paper of some kind, the taproot might stick to it. If it does, just rip off that spot of the paper and plant the whole thing. Otherwise there is a risk of damage to the taproot (damage to a taproot is usually the end of a plant).

    1- week Post-FIM training

FIMing is an interesting technique. You kinda have to hit it just right. I have seen some diagrams out there which give a good idea of where to cut and what's going on. If you FIM too low, it acts just like a topping, but with some damaged leaves. That's what yours looks like to me. No biggie...

Day 60 of flower do they look ready for flush

Flushing is important. It's why harvest season is so busy for farmers, all of them out there flushing their fields with lakes of water. It's how we have such good produce in the grocery store. :fire: But really, though. I bet flushing-quantities of water is more expensive than just continuing...

    Enter the Mind of JimmyJack

I promised a picture of my weird super crop: I have four in there now. I got it going where I want it, but after it stretches a bit more I'll put one more at the top to fill it out. The veg tent LOVES the gypsum. It greened up and took off. The flowering gal even got some, and she seems a bit...

    Enter the Mind of JimmyJack

It's been a week and much has happened. The buds are filling in and fattening. She only makes it about 36 hours between waterings. The veg tent is going well. Gender is starting to show, but nothing conclusive yet. Got the light raised about 28" and turned it up to 100%. Took some clones for...

Some people say don’t flush at all some say do?

My druthers'd get me an outdoor greenhouse like yours. These tents with electric lights seem silly. Next time I move I'll have enough land to pull it off proper. Cheers!
