Speaking from personal experience the number one cause of intersex has been high temps. Most people would see the amount of light that leaks into my grow and have a conniption but I see very little intersex issues. Only time I’ve found seeds in an all female run is when I let the temps spike up...

    Thug pug genetics anyone?

Yup, my brunch breath keeper clone got fully infested with botrytis outdoor this year. Had to Chuck the whole plant. Meanwhile the Sunshine daydream plant right next to it had next to none and went 2 weeks later. Definitely not great outdoor varieties from TP that I’ve seen so far. I’m sure...

    Thug pug genetics anyone?

Another week till chop I believe. Ran into some late PM for first time in my indoor garden. Never dealt with it in the past, going to do a sulfur burn and bleach spray down after this run. Will add regalia to my indoor watering, worked well on last years outdoor. Pain in the ass

Verdict on acceptable aeration for notill?

Perlite is totally fine. I’m on 4 years with same potting soil mix, haven’t added anything in terms of aeration and started with basic perlite. Cheapest bag I could find. The aeration thing is way over thought on pot forums. As your soil matures and you add good fresh compost aeration becomes...

Mycorrhiza Fungi...why you should get to know them...

Wouldn’t spend a dollar more on these myko products. The fresh stuff in the forest is much better and I’m still not totally convinced that adding mycos to potting soil in a horticulture setting is super effective. Tad hussey has a great interview with a biologist that does work with gold leaf...

    Thug pug genetics anyone?

Billy #1 and #2 respectively, #2 pulling ahead. Buds are denser and less leaf. Looking like these will be 70-75 day finishers. Smells are awesome, lemon-lime with a bit of that thugpug funk mixed in. If you guys got the billy packs get em going!

Rootbound : More likely when fed poorly ... or fed well ?

Yea the dry out phase is another one of the many bro science that’s been passed around the forums for decades and posted as fact by many people. Consistent watering that keeps the soil at the proper moisture is ideal. This is why watering systems like blumats are so effective and have been shown...

    bodhi seeds

One of two wookie orgasm plants about 50 days into bloom. So far not super impressed with this cross but will hold out on fully writing it off until chop/test. The buds are fluffy, small and leafy. Smells are mellow and hard to discern over the other stronger smelling plants in the garden. Gotta...

    Question about compost

These large municipal compost piles are fine. These piles get super hot for long periods of times. There’s no way pathogens have any better chance of surviving that then at a smaller composting facility. Regarding the pesticides and/or synthetic ferts, if the pile is getting hot and breaking...

    Thug pug genetics anyone?

Billy#1 5 weeks into bloom. Love the smells on this plant, super loud. My soil was little lacking on fertility this run so the buds are a little smaller than I believe they could be. Hopefully the effects on the Billy are different than that of brunch breath or PBB, I wasn’t a fan or those in...

    Feed plan okay?

I use straw simply to avoid that bone dry surface layer that you are seeing. Less watering is always a plus for me. Bonus is that it keeps the top inch or two active which from what i understand is where a lot of the magic happens. If you have worms in your containers too they’ll thank you...

    Feed plan okay?

If you built your soil with a Ph buffer, limestone oyster shell flour etc , forget about phing. Also forget about adding anything to your water until flower like stated. Get something covering those pots too, straw is cheap and works great. Good luck

    Indoor Garden Bed

Nice, you’ll be stoked on the bed. The plywood will keep your soil damp longer than fabric too. Less work watering which is always a plus

    Indoor Garden Bed

Yea, I veg my plants most of the way in 1 gal pots. Transplant them into the bed and wait till the canopy fills out to my liking then flip into bloom, usually around two weeks after transplant. I typically only grow regular seeds so pots are kind of a necessity, but also vegging in the pots...

    Indoor Garden Bed

Yea I think it is mostly due to the simple fact that the roots have more soil available to them as a bed is going to utilize the space it is in more efficiently than if you put pots in the same footprint. Also I personally believe that the plants do better when they interact with each other in...
