    New ac exhaust problem.

So far so good but could use some tweaking. Temp is holding around 20c and thats a bit cool for lights on. Rh seems to bounce between 48% and 60% within a given hour. The ac is so big for that 8x8x8 space that it keeps it quite cool in there just running the dehumidifier as you indicated it...

    Co2 injection frequency question

I used a nifty online calculator to figure out my co2 in my room is 6 minutes at a flow rate of 6. Ok got it. But how often? Lol I dont have a test kit....but my co2 controller is on order. So I need a good place to start forth next few days until it arrives. I'm in a sealed room...

    Salt buildup question

Hey gang, I have no experience with this line. Optimum Hydroponix 2 part a +b and supplement with B1, cal mag, and zenzime from the same company. I ph at 6.0 to 6.2. I using 3 gal pot and water when the plants look thirty and start to droop. Then I feed them at full strength nutes. A...

    New ac exhaust problem.

Wow that's a lot of water. You must be using hydro? I'm soilless in an 8x8ish room. The manual for the ac says in dehumidifier mode it runs non stop regardless of rh. I wonder if I'll take too much out? Already at 49% rh

Sounds genius to me. I'm changing it right now.

    New ac exhaust problem.

Yup you were right Mike! I used only enough of the original 5" to get me through the wall. Then I put on a spare 5-6" adapter and then 8 feet of 6" flex duct. It fixed the problem of the breaker and I have the room door shut now! The ac runs for about 5 minutes at a time. The temp drops...

    New ac exhaust problem.

I'm going to try the split tonight. I'm fairly convinced my power issue was simply an overload do to the ac not being able to exhaust. I'm going to leave the 4" dedicated to the cool tubes. Even at 45 feet that little vortex draws pretty good. But then again I am quite OCD with my ducting. That...

Someone Please Answer My Question Regarding Heating

That's a good puzzle my friend. Lol To even try at guessing you'll need to give lots more info. Like what climate your in? What are your winters like, and transition months like? Describe the size and features of the building. Can it retain heat? Condensation in the winter? Endless variables.

    New ac exhaust problem.

I see what your saying but the only wall near the ac is very small and is basically a fake wall as it was added to divide a larger room in half. Giving me my sealed flower room. Someone must have dealt with this before. It must be a common problem for indoor sealed rooms within basements.

    New ac exhaust problem.

Got an issue that I need some guidance on. I'm setting up my first sealed room. Just got a new dual hose 12 or 13k btu ac. I got it in the room with both hoses through the wall. The intake hose draws from the veg room and I ran 4" dryer ducting for the exhaust hose to a 4" Y splitter where...

    forgot to ph

Extra food? If 5.9 is the ph before you adjust I wouldn't worry if it was me. I feed with 6.2 all the time because that's how it mixes. Assume a +- of .1 on a cheapy digital ph pen your still in the ballpark....outfield anyway. I would look more into the leaf curling. Like what kind of curling?

co2 decreases potency according to skunk magazine

Hmmmm I'd like to hear more. I'm in the process of finishing construction on a sealed flower room for co2 use. The way I understand it the plant with co2 augmentation would just have more plant matter thereby more canabanoid of the same thc level, not more thc as far as potency is concerned. But...

    Sealed room question

Too late! Lol but thanks. I gave back the portable I borrowed. Today I found a nice 3 in 1 ac. 2 hose with an auto setting that will also keep humidity in check if it starts to rise when ac isn't needed. The room will be completely sealed now. I also picked up co2 tank and regulator today. I...

    Sealed room question

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I was wondering if it was still worth while to run a separate sealed duct just for the cool tubes. Or with this dedicated ac simply remove the cool tube duct and let the ac cool all the hid heat. But having thought about it, I imagine it must be way...

    Sealed room question

I found a dual hose unit that also controls humidity and has an auto mode for both temp and humidity. That would help with climbing humidity at night when the lights go out and the basement cools slightly. Should I still vent my cool tubes when the lights are on or just let the ac deal with it...

    Sealed room question

Perfect it turns out 5 stores right around me sell them lol Some of the claims I'm hearing about co2 have got my interested- 15% increase in yield- Thicker buds- Shorter flower- I've even read about co2 at 10k for an hour is a spider mite death ray. People and pets too. I guess that's...

    Sealed room question

Ah ok I get it. I can pick up a dual hose, cool the room while not venting co2 and the exhaust fan doesn't suck it out either. Since it won't need to extract hot air. Am I talking crazy? Lol
